R.H.Hydronics aims to equip homes and businesses across the Bay Area with efficient and sustainable radiant heating systems. Robert Horky and his team are highly trained professionals that provide exceptional service that meet and exceed client expectations.
Robert Horky is a fully qualified radiant heating engineer with a five-year degree
focused on radiant, geothermal, and solar heating from a college in Austria. During this
time, he developed a “ground-up” understanding of the science behind radiant heat.
His training taught him how to calculate a heating system’s heat loss and energy loss
factors, as well as the boiler’s size concerning the windows and walls. This allows him to assemble the most efficient system for any home, whether it's an Eichner or colonial.
With more than 20 years in the radiant-heat trade and with some 70 Eichler projects
under his belt, Robert’s experience matches his high-caliber training. His interest in
space heating trends and technologies has him interested in the future of the industry.
He wishes to install a complete solar and/or geothermal-system integrated heating
system in a home sometime in the future, when such technologies are more practical.
But until then, he’ll dutifully provide the best hydronic systems in the Bay Area.
R.H.Hydronics only uses high-quality, extra-durable hardware in building systems. Each component they choose is perfectly suited to the preference and use cases of their clients, ensuring the property owner can get the most out of the system.
Equipment such as the Bosch Buderas GB 142 Boiler, which is a high-efficiency boiler that runs silently, and the Quik-Trak radiant-heat panels, which can be controlled via a thermostat to save energy costs, are some of the components that R.H.Hydronics uses.
Robert’s team recognizes that quality components mean little if they’re not properly installed and maintained. Improper installation and servicing can cause inefficiencies in your system and can affect performance and spike your energy costs.
This is why R.H.Hydronics takes every step to ensure everything on your HVAC setup is up to industry standards, from the largest pipes to the smallest screws.
